In order to stop migration and provide the villagers food, occupation and nutrition, Healing Lives model of kitchen garden has been very successful in drought prone area. Low water consuming seeds of vegetable have been provided to the selected beneficiaries in some villages these have helped the villagers in sustaining their own health with naturally grown vegetables and also with economic benefits of not buying expensive vegetables from the market which are very costly due to scarcity of water.

A total of 35 kitchen gardens were started and seeing the result more kitchen gardens are expected in the coming seasons.
