Food relief & supplies given to the remotest villages affected by the Covid 19 lockdown and subsequently the floods by our team. We have been fortunate to provide brief relief to the lives of these destitute villagers in Assam Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh & Maharashtra The distribution is being carried out in different phases.
Healing Lives has conducted a health & hygiene drive in remote villages of Utter Pradesh, educating women on menstruation and breaking the stigma was the main purpose of this program. Due to lack of resources these women were not able to afford basic necessities like sanitary napkins.
A 2 day trip to the villages of Madraha & Baleshpurava, in Uttar Pradesh, India – so remote that even roads do not go there. But that didn’t stop us from marching intro the villages armed with books, sweets and seeds. Tiring journey but the excited smiles on the faces of the women and children
Trees are the backbone of life. Without trees the most living species of environment would have adverse effect. Healing Lives has taken very small step in this direction. Team Healing Lives conducted tree plantation drive in Nimgaon – Bhogi village in Maharashtra, India.
Rural areas are the worst affected in these tough times, with no employment, no source of money. They are battling for their own survival. We believe to empower women at the grass roots. Village women sewing bags for food grain distribution. It has helped them earn money for their basic needs.
