2020 was a difficult and challenging year in many ways & we had to focus more intensively on disaster relief to provide basic sustenance to many remote villages in Assam / UP and Maharashtra

Apart from Food supplies & hygiene products for women, our team distributed blankets to remote villages to keep them warm in the harsh winds of winter

In the remote village of Nimgaon bogi in Maharashtra, the elderly sit huddled inside thatched huts to avoid the winter Nights …the children holding onto to the end of their mother’s saris for warmth

a simple blanket to keep them warm is all we thought of & the gratitude in their eyes brought tears to ours.
